Lower Leg Myotomes and Dermatomes
Myotomes and dermatomes are used to assess the function of the peripheral nerves of the body. Myotomes are tested by ensuring the body part is able to actively move through its range of motion. Dermatomes are tested by assessing the patient's ability to sense; sharp vs dull pain, temperature, and pressure.
